Divna Ljubojević
My son Paul introduced me this week to the extraordinarily pure and lovely 
voice of Divna Ljubojević, who as vocalist and conductor is much more familiar on concert stages in Europe than in the United States. Often known more simply by her first name—Divna—she is Serbian, born (1970) and trained in Belgrade, an interpreter with her ensemble Melodi of traditional Orthodox sacred chant and song. Readers of Reckonings who have discovered Spotify and its capacity for expanding and deepening one's experience of music will find Divna's work well represented.
